Welcome to Year 6!

Year 6 – ASPIRATIONAL

We are striving to be ASPIRATIONAL in Y6 by always trying our best, keeping our futures in mind and working hard to achieve our goals.

 

In Y6, children show they are being ASPIRATIONAL by:

 

  • Having a growth mind-set and a ‘not yet’ approach
  • Aiming to getting involved in all activities at the Y6 residential
  • Being prepared to have multiple attempts at something to get it right
  • Believing in our own ability to achieve and improve
  • Proof reading and editing our writing
  • Finding out answers using previous knowledge
  • Knowing that there is always room for improvement
  • Being open to feedback and advice
  • Having a goal and working towards it
