Welcome to Year 5!

Year 5 - ADVENTUROUS

We are daring to be ADVENTUROUS IN Y5 by trying new things, never fearing our mistakes and challenging ourselves every day.

In Y5, children show we are being ADVENTUROUS by:

 

  • Reading adventurous fiction
  • Participating in exciting trips
  • Taking part in enrichment activities across the curriculum
  • Enjoying our Virtual Reality space adventure
  • Getting involved in our adventure themed topics
  • Being ready to answer questions without ‘hands up’
  • Working with lots of different partners
  • Explaining to the class or other children
  • Applying to be buddies and being interviewed
  • Applying to be on the School or Eco-Councils
  • Participating in the Y5 Linking project
  • Meeting children from other schools
