Year 3 - RESILIENT
We are trying to be RESILIENT in Y3 by never giving up, learning from our mistakes and encouraging each other to achieve our best through difficult challenges.
In Y3, children show we are being RESILIENT by:
- Keeping on going
- Celebrating mistakes
- Taking risks during Forest School
- Being brave at swimming and being prepared to ‘have a go’
- Learning to succeed by learning to fail
- Editing and improving our work when needed
- Seeing incorrect answers as a positive step to move learning forward
- Developing problem solving skills
- Accessing the classroom’s working wall and other resources independently
- Knowing what steps to take to succeed
- Developing a sense of worth in the classroom
- Explaining how we solved problems
