Welcome to Year 1!

Year 1 – CONFIDENT

 

We are learning to be CONFIDENT in Y1 by having a go at lots of different things and believing in ourselves that we can do it!

 

In Y1, children show we are being CONFIDENT by:

 

  • Being happy to talk to others, like other children and adults in school, visitors to school and people we might meet on trips
  • Trying to do new things
  • Being happy to share my ideas, thoughts and feelings
  • Being happy to ask for help
  • Coping well with different changes
  • Making marvellous mistakes and knowing that it is OK to make them because we can learn from them
